Unico Arcade SNK MVSX

The MVSX comes with 50 pre-loaded SNK Neo Geo classics from SNK's arcade library, including the King of Fighters series, Metal Slug series, Samurai Shodown series, Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, World Heroes, and Last Blade. The full 50-game list is shown on the product page.

Yes. The MVSX is an officially licensed SNK product - every title is a legitimate, licensed Neo Geo arcade game running at its original speed and resolution. There is no unlicensed emulation or filler in the library.

No. The MVSX has no cartridge slot and the game library is fixed at the 50 included titles - there is no way to add games to it. The USB Type-A port is for firmware updates, not for loading additional games. If you need a cabinet that accepts MVS carts or other boards, the Nova Blast candy cab is the better fit.

For compatible titles you can switch between the home AES version and the commercial MVS version of a game. AES and MVS releases of Neo Geo titles sometimes differ in content and difficulty, so the switch lets you play the version you remember.

A 17-inch 4:3 TFT LCD at 1280x1024 with pixel-perfect scaling, plus an optional scanline effect that emulates the look of a vintage arcade CRT. Note the screen is an LCD, not a CRT - viewing angles are good but not perfect, so a seated, head-on position is ideal.

Two independent joystick and button sets - joystick + 6 buttons per player plus select, P1/P2 start, back, and a volume knob. That means two players can fight or co-op straight out of the box with no extra controllers.

Yes. The MVSX includes HDMI output so you can play on a larger TV or monitor, and a headphone jack for private play. Note that the cabinet controls remain the only controller input - HDMI is output only.

It has two 5W stereo speakers plus the two mini LED screens and front LED lightbox that recreate the original MVS cabinet look - audio and atmosphere are both authentic to the arcade experience.

The MVSX is a bartop unit out of the box - roughly 19.5 x 15.8 x 25 inches and about 37 lb (16.8 kg) - designed to sit on a table or counter. For standing play at full arcade height, add the optional wooden base (sold separately, or bundled in the Combo package), which brings it to about 57 inches tall. A matching stool is also available.

No. The bartop arrives nearly assembled - you attach the control deck and marquee, which takes about 20 minutes. If you bought the Combo, the base attaches to the bartop with a few screws. Everything needed is in the box.

The unit runs on a DC 12V 3A power adapter that is included in the box and works with standard household power. No other accessories are required to start playing.

Yes. The USB Type-A port supports firmware upgrades via USB memory stick. Follow the instructions from Unico when an update is released - updates improve system stability and compatibility but do not add games.
