Works great

I have this connected to a Pandoras Box DX and the resolution is fantastic. Only initial adjustments to pots on the back of the screen and I let auto adjust do the rest.

CGA connector didn’t work. Had to use a converter and run it through VGA to get it to recognize the signal. The image is nice and bright though.

There's a lot of hate out there for this monitor, but if you have the right hardware to hook it up then it's a fantastic unit.

First off, don't even try to hook this thing directly to a CGA feed from your cabinet. Get yourself the latest Gonbes 8200 and feed a VGA cable from that board into the monitor.

Second, get yourself a scanline generator. The SLG3000 is good but I got a cheap one off Amazon that works just fine.

With those two pieces of additional hardware in the mix I got my Gauntlet Legends looking real good on this monitor. I'd give it 5 stars if the two boards above weren't needed and the monitor's firmware was able to handle it all. Nonetheless, I'm pleased with this purchase and hope others can use my suggestions above to bring their old worn out CRT arcades back to life.

Monitor works on 15hz when you have a interconnect that reduces the video voltage, otherwise it is over brightness and you can’t adjust it out. I had an interconnect that has potentiometers to reduce the voltage of the video output from your pcb. It also doesn’t come with the connector for the 15hz rgb input, I had to make my own out of 2 on molex .156. Also the image doesn’t go all the way to the edges of the lcd no matter how you adjust it, it has about 1 1/2 inches on all sides when you center the image.
