[Pre-order] SNK MVSX

First off, the cabinet looks absolutely beautiful. Definitely the best looking little Cabinet that I've seen. It is a decent size without the riser for seated play and the riser's lowest setting makes it the perfect height for standing play for me(I'm 6 foot). However, the viewing angles on my screen are pretty bad. Looking at it from the left at an angle is fine, but player 2 side gets washed out. If you are standing up looking down at the screen, it looks fine. But if you are looking up at it, it can get pretty bad. You probably won't run into that issue, but if you are playing with a kid like me, the kid will have to deal with it. This is really disappointing, since all the reviews I saw from 5 years ago say that the screen is great. So I don't know if they cheaped out on the screen with the new units or what. My unit also came with a small scratch on the screen. Nothing major and not really noticable anymore, but it is there. The emulation is ok. Metal Slug still has slow down, which is fine, but for emulation it shouldn't have that. But it doesn't personally ruin my experience. It would be nice if we could buy more games for it, but there is no way to put more games on it. I remember 5 years ago they were planning on releasing packs for it, but that fell apart apparently. Even with my issues, I still recommend this. The screen is really the only Issue I have with it, so I just stand at a certain angle. But I still wish it was a better screen, hence the 3 stars. Still worth it though.

I bought the MVSX a little over three years ago and i love this thing so much. The controls are very responsive,
dependable and well made. And they last! No parts have needed replacement, not even a single button. All I play is fighting games and neither the joystick or buttons have ever let me down. And that says a lot. I have always loved the design, the stylish look of the MVSX is a compliment to any room, it even looks good in my kitchen. Unico you rule! Thank you for an outstanding and beautiful product that I will continue to play for many years to come.

Incredible! This thing is so awesome! The controls feel great, the compact size/deck is actually super comfortable, and the screen looks excellent.
